HOW DO I DETERMINE MY PASSING LEVEL?

  • To skate on a G/D – FS 10 session, you must pass the ISI Gamma test or an equivalent test.

*Here is the passing standard for Gamma:
    With good control complete:
LFO and RFO 3 turns (on a curve and both edges equal the skater’s height). Perform a 7-step open Mohawk combination with correct arm rotation/control, and a hockey stop – complete stop using both feet.

  • Skaters who qualify to skate on the FS 4 and lower sessions will be between our beginning levels through to FS 4 (You may have passed FS 4 but not yet FS 5). Allowable elements are as followed: all spins without a flying entrance, Juvenile MIF and lower, all single jumps (excluding axel). If you qualify for FS 5 + sessions, you are not allowed to skate on this session.

  • Skaters who qualify to skate on the FS 5+ sessions must have passed at least one of the following tests: (ISI) FS 5, Pre-Juvenile FS, Adult Silver FS, Intermediate MIF, or Adult Gold MIF. If you qualify to skate on a FS 4 and lower session you will be not allowed to skate on this session.

*Skaters signing up for Freestyle Sessions must become familiar with the special safety rules which apply. View our Ice Etiquette & Safety Rules above.
