If you have not been evaluated, please sign up for a Sunday,
Pickup game. Stop by the Pro Shop on your way in to fill out a
questionnaire before going onto the ice.

ALL RULES ARE IN ADDITION TO AND WILL SUPERSEDE USA HOCKEY RULES AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Supplemental Discipline: Any play may be reviewed at the discretion of the Ice Palace Admin which may incur additional suspensions.

The Ice Palace Adult Hockey League is a co-ed program for ages 18 and older with average skating skills. This league is no check, no slapshot focusing on competitive sportsmanship. As incidental contact cannot always be avoided, the referee’s call is final.

We are USA Hockey sanctioned with up to 10 teams in 3 divisions. Our league runs year-round with league play, pickup hockey games and stick and puck hours.

ZERO TOLERANCE

1. OPENLY DISPUTES OR ARGUES ANY DECISION BY AN OFFICIAL
2. Visually creates a disturbance during a game
3. Taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct directed at an opponent or official
will not be tolerated.
4. Fighting is prohibited. A fighting penalty is an automatic minimum 6
month suspension from all hockey at the Ice Palace.
5. SLAP SHOTS ARE NEVER ALLOWED! This includes faking a slap shot.

FAIR PLAY AND RESPECT

• Play for FUN, work to improve your skills. We are OHANA play with respect for the game, opponents and officials at all times.

• Be aware of what behaviors will result in misconduct, major and match
  penalties

• The Ice Palace Admin reserves the right to make decisions to protect
  our players our league and the overall safety of the Ice Palace officials and staff.

  ALCOHOL / ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES

  Our facility does not tolerate ALCOHOL or the use of ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES. Anyone caught carrying or consuming on the property
  will be subjected to a minimum mandatory 30-day-suspension from
  the facility. Players under the influence will not be allowed to participate in all hockey events. This rule will be strictly enforced. Remember- we have camera’s everywhere.

PLAYERS MUST KEEP THEIR HELMETS ON AT THE PLAYERS BENCHES

• All penalties are run time:

• Minor - 2 minutes

• Major 5 or 7 minutes. Any player assessed a major penalty will be assessed a game misconduct penalty and be ruled off the ice for the remainder of the game and will incur an automatic 3 game suspension plus any additional penalties assessed by IPHAHL which may include suspension from all hockey up to a year or expulsion from the league.

Damage to the Facility

Damaging or attempting to damage the facility will result in an automatic ejection from the building for not less than one year.
Attempting to damage will include punching, hitting, swinging sticks or equipment at walls, boards, plexi-glass, doors, machines, etc.
